Universal CityWalk is a great way to enjoy some fun, without even having to enter the theme parks. CityWalk is located at both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood, each with their own unique differences.

Filled with shopping, dining, and experiences, Universal CityWalk is some of the best nightlife you can come across. Easy parking at both locations offers convenience of not having to drive around looking for a spot on busy city streets.

Universal Studios Hollywood – CityWalk

CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood is home to over 30 different restaurants, a movie theater, shopping, and experiences. It’s the perfect way to have a fun night out without having to go four different places for the same experience.

When it comes to dining, CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood has some of the best places to offer. One of my absolute favorite places to eat, no matter where I am, has always been Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville. There is just something about tropical music and tropical drinks that always make me ready to relax and enjoy my vacation. If tropical isn’t your thing, take a bite out of Southern California history with a visit to Pink’s Famous Hot Dogs. Started over 70 years ago, it’s still family owned and operated by the original creator.

Looking for a little fun? Universal CityWalk Hollywood is home to iFly, a state of the art indoor skydiving wind tunnel.  The wind tunnel requires no experience and is perfect for ages 3 and up. For the older ones, CityWalk is also home to a nightclub, Howl at the Moon. The dueling piano bar is home to a high energy dance party all night long.

Shopping throughout CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood is great too! Since you’re in California territory, you might want to pick up some Los Angeles Dodgers, University of California Los Angeles, or Oakland Raiders swag. You can find all of that and more at CityWalk.

Universal Studios Orlando – CityWalk

Universal Studios Orlando CityWalk is a bit different from it’s California counterpart. It’s still the same in great dining and Universal CityWalk Hard Rock Cafeshopping options, but there are some restaurant ideas that are just too cool to pass up.

On a recent trip to Universal Orlando CityWalk, my friends and I visited the Burger King Whopper Bar. This place was so cool in the fact that we could take a plain old Whopper and put as many different toppings on it as we wanted. Toppings ranged from bacon to fried onions to guacamole. Definitely worth the try.

Looking for some fun for the little ones in the family? CityWalk in Orlando is home to Hollywood Drive-In Golf. There are two different courses to play so choose between The Haunting of Ghostly Greens and Invaders from Planet Putt. Play a round or two after dinner to end the night on a high note.

Adults can have a great time at CityWalk Orlando as well. There are 4 nightclubs located at CityWalk, each with different themes. Head to Red Coconut for a vintage Vegas feel with signature cocktails and music for an island escape. The Groove is also another nightlife spot that is a multilevel dance club with different themed floors.
