Looking for a place where you can see four states, a lake, and a city at the same time? We know just the place. 360 Chicago, here we come!
Built between 1965 and 1970, the John Hancock Center was the first modern skyscraper in the Chicago skyline. It is home to businesses and residents alike with 360 CHICAGO perched above providing magnificent views from the 94th floor. Looking out from 1,030 feet above the ground, the views are truly 360 degrees with an inspiring view of Lake Michigan.
Some interesting factoids:
One of the most unique features of 360 Chicago is the Tilt. This attraction costs extra, but it is well worth the money. Not for those with a fear of heights, step aboard a window pane and get tilted out over the city below for some breathtaking views and heart stopping adventure.
Open 365 days a year, Chicago 360 will give you views that are unparalleled, but also a chance to see four states all at one time. There are interactive touch screens on every side available in English, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese where you can learn about landmarks you are seeing.
Looking for a little fun for a twist on date night? Bar 94 is located at the top of the observation deck. They serve all kinds of beer, wine, and liquor and if you purchase the Sun and Stars Pass you can experience the best of both views.
The Sun and Stars Pass grants visitors the option to visit both day and night. See the historic buildings in the day time, but at night, watch the city lights come alive.
Hours of operation are from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week. Last admission is at 10:30 PM.
Ticket prices range from $12-$18 and children are always free.
