Road trips, sightseeing, nature adventures… those are all fun activities during the Summer. But what about the days when it’s just too hot to handle? The obvious choice is a Water Park!
Not a new entertainment idea by any means, but they always delivers a refreshing day in the sun! And many times they are not that far from where you live!
When you just can’t beat the heat, few things sound appetizing other than dousing oneself in nice, cool, water. Even if it isn’t the hottest day of the summer, who doesn’t enjoy floating around a lazy river? It’s just sooo relaxing.

Knott’s Berry Farm in Southern California is a 160-acre amusement park located in Buena Park, California. Did you know that Knott’s Berry Farm was the tenth-most-visited theme park in North America in 2017? Knott’s Soak City is the place for all thing water related – Water Slides, Wave Pools, A Lazy River and much more. A great place to spend a day soaking up the California sun!
Few places on Earth are quite as fun as LEGOLAND, and the water park section of LEGOLAND is definitely a wet ‘n wild time! The kids, and parents of course, can slide, splash and build their way through the fun. There’s a LEGO wave pool, a Build-A-Raft lazy river, tube slides, body slides, and plenty of interactive water-play structures. There’s even a Joker Soaker and DUPLO Safari. The fun is limitless at this water park, and you’ll stay cool all day long.
The all-inclusive water park at Boomerang Bay is non-stop excitement and fun. Of course it feature the classics – a wave pool, waterslides, and a lazy river. But there are also a variety of musical shows which feature Broadway classics and Top 40 hits. Some of the water slides include – Didgeridoo Falls where the entire family can ride together on one raft (four people), the adrenaline pulsing Down Under Thunder, and the enclosed crazy Tasmanian Typhoon.
LEGOLAND California isn’t just any LEGOLAND, it features the world’s first LEGOLAND Water Park – LEGO Legends of CHIMA Water Park. The centerpiece of this epic water park is the 45-foot tall tower designed to immerse the kids in the creative world of LEGO. The park also features more than 20 LEGO models including giant LEGO friends who splash or spray water on guests, two sandy beach wading areas, and plenty of thrilling rides. Our favorite rides include the Pirate Reef, Splash Out and Twin Chasers.
