Escape Reality With a Trip to New York’s VR World

Parents and kids, get ready for an evolved experience on your next trip to the Big Apple. Let us introduce you to VR World, a two floor, virtual reality attraction, where parents can feel like kids again, and kids are mesmerized!

VR World opened up its doors to the public earlier this year in New York City. Visitors can expect to step out of reality and into a world full of games and attractions which range from family style games to films.

VR World is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 12 – 10 pm and on Sunday from 12 – 8 pm.  Guests are encouraged to travel light as there is no on-site storage for larger bags and items.

Located near other popular New York attractions such as the Empire State Building and the Herald Square Macy’s, a trip to VR can easily include a few other bucket list items.

VR World is found at 4 East 34th St. New York, NY 10016, merely steps away from the Empire State Building. Visitors can take subway lines B, D, F, M, N, Q, R, W to Herald Square or line 6 to 33 Street Station.

Being the only virtual reality experience currently located in the United States, VR World is unlike any other place in North America. Jessica Grey, a member of VR World’s marketing department, explains why mainstream VR didn’t work, “The price point of virtual reality equipment can be pretty expensive. Some users don’t have enough space to use the equipment at home either, but here you can just buy a ticket and enjoy.”

The attraction plays host to single player games but also lets family enjoy content together. With attractions built for up to four players, the environment boasts access to experiences for the entire group simultaneously.

Heighten your senses and step into a world where reality goes away. At VR World, users will find the technology of Oculus, HTC Vice, or Samsung Gear headsets and can play all day or for just an hour or two.

365 Tickets USA offers two ticket options for VR World. Guests can choose the single day pass for $59.99 or the 2-hour pass for $39.00. Many guests find themselves enjoying far more than two hours worth of content.

Grey also notes that the open space concept the VR team used when designing the space has turned into the ideal happy hour environment. It features a bar, and drinks can be taken throughout the entire space. No outside food or beverage is allowed, but there are drinks and snacks available for purchase once inside.

Be sure to head to 365 Tickets USA to purchase your discounted tickets and take a leap outside reality at VR World.
